The next mile from the Avalanche Camps, the climb becomes steeper as it ascends a couple of pitches with gentler grades in-between to Avalanche Pass. At the Pass will stop for lunch then gear up for the 2 mile down hill descent then back to the Loj to finish our 10 mile journey. Then return to the luxurious Mirror Lake Inn for dinner by a crackling fire sharing the day's experiences with everyone.
